The Wonderful 101

I was delighted to hear this one has gotten a PC port. I've heard before that this one is a hidden gem amongst Platinum Games enthusiasts - and hot dayum, this might just be my favorite after Revengeance.
The only real negative I can think of is that the perspective can make it really hard to tell where exactly an airborne item is.

The localization of The Hundred Line was so shit that i'm blackpilled about any upcoming JRPG at this point.

I recently bought a new PC because the old one was on its last legs, and they gave me a free code for Doom: Dork Ages.
Is it worth playing?
If the combat is at least a little more boomer shooter-ish than 2016 and Eternal i may install it, if it's another platformer with arenas i'm not interested.
Go for it. I would say the combat is faster than 2016 but slower than Eternal and without all the weapon switching, it isn't as exhausting. There are a few moments that feel like shark jumping, but not a bad Doom overall. Worth playing if you got it free. Doom is based uwu

They were literally asking for you to call it The Dork Ages.

I'm sure the usual suspects are claiming the game's actually doing gangbusters on consoles and digital storefronts that don't make their metrics visible.

>only TES 6 can save them now
They're fucked.

I was actually hoping for the combat to be slower, because when i tried to play Doom 2016 it gave me motion sickness - the same happened with Dusk, Amid Evil, OG Half Life and for some reasons Dead Island, even though it's a slow paced hack and slash.
Maybe i'll try to play the trilogy in a window to see it that fixes it, but more likely i'll reinstall and finish Boltgun, that i dropped during Act 3.

That Expedition 33 is ackshually breddy gud as far as JRPGs go.
It's open world.
The characters' customization is deeper than the average JRPG; there are attribute points, skill trees and, unlike pretty much every other JRPG, you can change the outfits and haircuts of the characters without buying DLCs, you find them while exploring and/or by killing optional bosses.
The combat is fun on expert; unless you execute the dodging, parrying, jumping and counterattacking sequences perfectly the party gets wiped.
The plot so far is better than anything Squeenix has put together in the last 10-20 years; the protagonist gets the Aerith treatment and dies heroically halfway through, only to be replaced by the manlier, lone wolf archetype:

And this is how Sephirot looks like:

That seems to be a common feature with 3D Faux-JRPGs. That one LotR RPG for the PS2 that stole its combat system from FFX had every piece of armor be reflected on your characters.

You don't really see that in proper JRPGs all that often because they are animu af and animu characters have iconic looks that rarely change.

That's not a very high bar. Even if some Western devs are doing their best with shit like Dustborn.
