So THE GASLIGHT DISTRICT was mediocre as fuck.

I didn't even bother linking it here. Boring characters, feels like a Hazbin knockoff, and I don't like the gimmicky fake stop-motion shit they're doing.

It's worth a watch. It's Corpse Bride mixed with Mad God. I also suspect the main character is a dyke.

So I watched it.

I guess it'll be a better Murder Drones, because the premise makes for less mood whiplash for the ultra-violence, and I hope there aren't too many opportunities for them to fuck up this prophecy thing, and/or make it more needlessly complicated.
The main waifu's design is confusing af. Why is she a mummy-version of that chick from Deponia?
And really? You make an animu nosebleed a major plot point? That only worked once when Akira Toriyama did it.
Characters are a bit meh, tbh. Glitch clearly peaked with Caine and Jax.

They had no choice. There aren't too many people with experience in dark comedies set in some fantasy version of the 1920s/30s where the protagonists are sociopathic freaks and one of the main antagonist groups is Heaven (tm).

No idea what Mad God is, and comparing this to Corpse Bride isn't fair seeing the lack of diversity in character models. Anyone who's not an important character is the same guy. I can't even tell if any of these identical background characters were supposed to be female.
Also this leads me to weirdly autistic questions like "What did the main characters do to get an actual face with actual eyes?"
