A judge is going to shut that down, because Blompf has to go through congress. But what he's doing will make the base clap.

He's supposed to go through Congress for everything he's been doing since taking office (Congress decides where money is spent, not the President. The President can't just reallocate funds Congress has already allocated), but that hasn't stopped him.

His plan doesn't really make any sense.

So he wants to send education management back to the states. That is already the situation, they control 90 percent of the management of school shit, with the federal government stepping in for student loans, college grants and high poverty K-12 schools, and to help kids with disabilities. That's the DOE.

Now on the chopping block has been college funding. Blompf has already picked fights with a few universities over trannies, DEI, whatever. Some of that's on the universities, because these deans and upper management get paid too fucking much, and they're not going to think to pay for the cuts out of their salaries to reduce the hurt. The kids pressured by their boomer/Gen X ass parents into university will eat this.

Disability help, high poverty funding, and student loans on the other hand; Blompf is swearing won't be affected. But that's really most of the department.

Trump is apparently handing student loans over to the SBA. There's breathing room to cancel a large portion of them, given many are just paying interest, and he'd ironically be "shrinking the federal government", but I guess not. The way he wants to do it, it does seem like the process would become far more nightmarish rather than easier. As far as the high poverty areas and the disabled, haven't heard jack. Cutting all that is suicidal, keeping it accomplishes very little and would reduce this charade to just Trump blustering.

He could cancel the above mentioned loans, and it would probably be a political winner, but its also a ***flip flop*** gasp.

Apparently, Elon's allies have suggested replacing workers who help parents and borrowers with chatbots.....and absolutely not. I will go out of my way to speak to a person when I'm on the phone, because a chatbot winds up accomplishing nothing at all. Just runs me around in circles.

Yeah, I need to ask people I know if any of their friends have been deported. I've heard that ICE has quotas now and they're really aggressively going after even legal immigrants, to say nothing of the illegal ones.

I'm not exactly opposed to deportations but I would vastly prefer if we'd give these deportees some due process and also stop deporting dudes with green cards.
