I guess they are going for something there. Lacks some grime. Then again, I'm neither much of a Doom nor an Orchestral kinda guy, so take that into consideration. For slow stuff I'm more into the cavernous stuff like Fossilization.



If it's slow it better be crushing and sound like it was recorded in a sewer canal or a cave.

They used to be better, like most bands.

Yeah, there is a noticeable difference in vocals in Redux for the better. I also doubt that is a live drum track in that latter video.

It's a very clean production they go for now and it's perhaps a logical conclusion to what they were going for all along. It doesn't really have a fault and I actually liked their latest album on first listen.

It's not bad and has that wall of sound effect, yet separated enough to not just turn to mush. But it's nothing that stays with you. I got bored of it fairly quickly. You need some grime to be memorable.
