You'd think so. But the CDU won't enter into a coalition with the AFD, so it'll be the SPD they will work with for yet another go at the "great coalition" that was utter shit the last time around.
Just that this time both parties managed to get historically low votes.

Not that the AFD is actually based. But it would've been a step in the right direction.

Let's face it: really based politics won't get anywhere in the current zeitgeist.

Currently we have some autistic pokering going on. These few weeks before the new parliament goes live might be the only time in a while they might be able to pass changes to the constitutions - particularly with regards to our debt brake, which is a bit annoying and general and especially in the way of increasing our military budget.

Once the new parliament does go live, the established parties no longer will have enough combined votes for such a change and will have to rely on at least some votes from the AFD or the Left, which would be considered the most betrayalish of betrayals.
