There is a live action Zelda in the works that’ll presumably have a more traditional Hyrule.

Whoever does this will likely have issues with Ganondorf being both ginger and vaguely arabic-y (despite his true form being a literal pig).

It will be as bad as Super Leguizamo Bros, or as the Dragon's Lair live action movie which is supposedly also in the works.

Any adaptation that's not animated, and/or not in Don Bluth's style, and/or without peak Don Bluth's writing will be a blasphemy.
If the first game is too simplistic and doesn't have enough characters, they can just adapt the sequel instead, or merge the 2 games into one movie:

I honestly hope it dies a quick death at the box office. It's likely that it will, since it'll need to make $400 million or so to break even. People who greenlight shit like this and the Emoji movie need to be dragged out into the street and shot.

Hard no. The whole licence is a retroactively cobbled-together Frankenstein, just existing because some fags at Dark Horse comics bought the two franchises seperately in 1989 for a comic book publication, and made a "What if"-jerk-off-series from it.
