Are you familiar with Cyrax? I'm sure you kind of are. In any case, Cyrax never got a cent from his detractors, barely even from his supporters.
He did get plenty of attention from them, though! So Musicbiz Marty and Audentum, his biggest sources of attention, both didn't pay him no mind at all for over half a year each.

Guess what the change was. Nothing.
DSP is perfectly fine with not a single detractors around in his hugbox with his three paypiggies. In fact, he'd be happier if that was the case at all times.
I guess as a former SoK you still think that detractors are a big deal. To DSP they are not. If all of them vanished over night he would be the happiest faggot around and take no monetary hit.

Why wouldn’t I? Detractors keep the attention on him.. take away all the attention, and even if the whales are keeping them afloat right now the second they leave, he would have nothing considering nobody knew would be coming in.

But say he would be fine either way. You admitted that he’s boring as fuck now.. people only bitch about every little thing he does because it keeps them relevant. Otherwise why else would old SoK members still be full on detractor mode despite being over him and having better things to do? Or building their own gaming channel brand off the back of. all the detractors that followed them during the days the SoK meant something? Why do grifters like side scrollers always talk about him but then say they’re done with him before bringing him up again?

DSP’s name is a curse to him and it doesn’t benefit him at all, but it sure does benefit all the people who use it to get attention for themselves. Why is it so hard to admit that the detractors need him more than he needs them then? Going off exactly what you were just saying about how he would be OK on his own if all the detractors Cease to exist overnight?

Like sometimes I actually try to see what Phil is doing just cause I have nothing else to do and I can’t even make it through the first few minutes because he’s just so boring. He’s not even worth pointing and laughing at anymore. He’s just a shell begging for change just to keep his gambling addiction going for one more day. No different than the homeless guy you give money to, and he quite obviously goes and buys alcohol with it to feed his alcoholism.

The reason DSP as a brand still exists is because detractors literally keep him alive on life-support because they wouldn’t know what the fuck to do if he was actually gone. If the ride finally ended.

As for Phil, he might dance around and be the happiest faggots in the world, but the second any and all income dried up he would be begging for them to come back too much like how South Africa begged the white farmers to come back and make food for them

I don't disagree that the detractors need him more than he does them but as long as he has his few whales around that give gibs he's fine.

As for why anyone watches him, I have no idea. He's dead boring.

I don't find the begging interesting. I just find the fact that he will beg every fucking day for an hour plus and becomes increasingly desperate to be pretty funny.

But he has always done that. He begs for money all the time then spends it on. Sweaty man jpegs or other shit like staycations at the 5 star motel at most an hour away from his house. And he always uses taxes and billth as his way into people’s wallets. He hasn’t changed at all besides the fact that he’s doing a lot less shitty things than he did when he was with. Pandalee. That’s exactly why he’s boring now. And of course, at this point, he can’t reinvent himself so that’s why he’s feeling at that too..

It’s just a cycle at this point Phil needs the detractors to keep attention on him, keep funneling in people who have never heard of him which gets him new piggies when the old ones leave. On the other hand the detractors need him too because as much as they say they’re done with him it’s become a grift whether to build their brand by talking about him to get views or in the case of one “gaming” channel run by an SoK guy who claimed to be over him before the group collapsed basically built his brand mainly from DSP detractors, past SoL, and past SoK supporters who migrated after the group collapsed. Of course that wasn’t enough so now he’s just. Another one of those “woke” pro-DEO people who believe every actor or voice actor that claims to get death threats when something bombs

It just goes to show that no matter how much time passes nobody has been able to just move on from him. In one way or another, they have him to think for not being complete. Nobodies the ironic thing is that they would claim that I’m just jealous because I could never build anything off of the back of Phil like they did, but you know what I never wanted too. Like I said back in the day I didn’t like the guy for actual reasons and when I didn’t have reasons anymore, I stopped. Occasionally, just seeing what he’s doing because I’ve got nothing else to do but outside of right now I don’t even talk about him anymore. Like I sai to me it was about making friends, and I will always stand by that. If all I wanted was attention or the grift off of Phil, then it wouldn’t have heard it all when they stabbed me in the back multiple times,

But you know what at least I don’t have to talk about Phil because it’s the only way I can be relevant at all like most of them. Or live off my one achievement of. creator of TIHYDP because I haven’t done anything else since then. And you know what if I do build my own gaming brand then at least I can say I did that without having to use Phil or the detractors to get in on the ground floor
