Definitely domestically even though it seems that internationally it did great. I only know because Ya Bitch Boi Zack was sperging as usual about the Birthday Clowns saying how they didn't laud the movie as a great success. I admit I don't know what the projection worldwide was but it definitely has underperformed domestically. What will help this movie is that Sony was smart enough under Rothman not to balloon this movie into the typical capeshit budget of 200 million. Looks to be about 110 million so it should break even easily

The 1st Incredibles is my favorite capeshit movie. I, for some reason, hadn’t seen it since it came out in 2004. This had me engaged for every second, had a degree of energy and cleverness that comes from a guy who probably wasn’t going to get another shot if this failed, and Brad Bird probably wasn’t. Iron Giant, Kino though it is, underperformed at the box office.

Cartoonish to think of how many aspects of this movie Marvel and DC have tried to emulate in the decades since, and how easily the first Incredibles just styles on them on all counts.

I'm more into the 1st Megamind. Sure it has your typical Dreamworks-isms, but they kinda work here, and the whole affectionate parody angle was much better executed than I initially thought.
