Still stuck with the shitty new UI. I guess now it's there to stay. Would be nice if they had fixed any of the bugs I noticed.

Also noticed a few ads. One is for the new World of Warcraft expansion which looks lame af, the other is some German ad which looks like some talk show / fake interview clip featuring a disgusting pink-haired troon with both lip and nose rings.
Thankfully my adblocker, although ravaged by YT's push to fight adblockers, has so far managed to protect me from this particular clip, so I thankfully only see the thumbnail.

Youtube has this wonderful section of Shorts that you can't hide indefinitely. I found out how to break it.
Only click on a short if its a cat video. After a week now that's all YT recommends me for shorts. No gay TikTok garbage, just cat videos.

There are a couple of historical weapon and armor youtubers who make shorts. You can do something similar by clicking on their shorts when you see them.
