The gist I think is that the faggot running Warner Bros wants all of the CN shows to be HBO Max exclusive, but some of the shit that you’d actually want to watch ex. Johnny Bravo - is not on this stupid streaming service.

Re: "Cartoons"
Paying for subscription services is the boomerism of my generation. So fucking worthless. Take the same money you'd pay per month and invest it in a dvd/bluray library of films/shows you can rewatch at your own leisure. Or, if you don't have the meatspace, pirate everything and rip it directly to your media player of choice. I have Vanishing Point and Mad Max downloaded because I got tired of these movies (Mad Max especially) cycling in and out of availability.
I watch The Warriors 2-3 times a year at least. My dvd has more than paid for itself. Sometimes The Warriors is available on a streaming service, sometimes it's not. But my dvd has director commentary.
A Criterion Collection dvd or bluray costs somewhere in the ballpark of $20, will appreciate in value over time (almost certainly), contains a wealth of extra features not available anywhere else (usually not even pirates have them) and it's physical media you can own. I don't know if you can rip Criterion dvds directly, but there's probably a way.
So if you give a shit about gay cartoons, just buy the dvds or pirate them and enjoy owning something you can watch even when you're 90 years old.

I still feel a little sad I missed out on the Criterion Hara-Kiri dvds back when they were around $15. The price has gone up considerably. Reminder: Criterion shit appreciates in value unless the collection was particularly sub-par, aka no extra features.
Criterion Ran is nearing $100, IIRC.
Unrelated, but Arrow are releasing a lot of kung fu blurays around $20 each, with a shit ton of extra features. Guarantee they'll be worth a good chunk in a few years, when Arrow run through their stock or the license expires.

Re: "Cartoons"
And especially with halfway comedic series you'll never know if the streaming service won't omit certain episodes for being too istphobic.
Speaking of, apparently Disney has decided to censor the works of Don Rosa, particularly two Scrooge McDuck stories featuring a "problematic" zombie (which is somewhat problematic in and of itself because the only reason he had to deal with a zombie in the first place was because of that one time he turned into a complete asshole in his pursuit of money).

Oh, you want to watch the Super Best Friends episode of South Park? Have fun finding that one without resorting to piracy. Thanks, muslims!

Funny part is that that if I recall correctly, Comedy Central got spooked by a soy boy who converted to Islam. I don't remember any other Muslims talking about it.

One more thing:
Warner Bros isn't exactly known for making smart decision. See everything they've done these last 10+ years.CuckTurdginson wrote: ↑Sat Aug 10, 2024 2:12 amThe gist I think is that the faggot running Warner Bros wants all of the CN shows to be HBO Max exclusive, but some of the shit that you’d actually want to watch ex. They're like Disney if Disney never had the popular first MCU phases and just started with shit.

Pretty much. They were struggling until the MCU came along
