Disagree. Timm's not an agenda pusher like Greg Weisman. Read his interviews where he talks about their conflicts with Sean Catherine Derek, who wanted BTAS to be exactly that kind of show (Batman tackling 'the issues')

This, to me, suggests the opposite. It's probably the execs going to Timm and saying 'Look, you've got to push some of this shit or this shit doesn't get made'

I've noticed that after a certain age, my friends wouldn't just go to hang out anymore. It has to be some sort of event like a movie.
