Lost an eBay auction last second to some crazy asshole straight up doubling his bid.

The way I look at it, when I "lose" an auction that way, I won. If I made somebody pay more than what the item is worth, then I won. They have to overpay and I get to smuckle and move on to the next listing.

Bro, that's why you gotta adjust your max bid right up to the line of market value. You'd be amazed how many fools will outbid and pay over market price just to "win" an auction.
