Italy is out and deservedly so. They played a very tepid game against Switzerland you could be forgiven thinking it was a group phase game where both teams are set.

Germany just won against Denmark in a chaotic 2:0.
First we get a goal taken away by the ultra anal referee for a supposed foul that just plain wasn't one. A trend that would keep up the whole evening.
In rhe 35th minute the game was paused due to a torrential thunderstorm.

In the second half Denmark scored a goal that wasn't given due to, no joke, about an inch of offside. That's shit that no human would've ever seen. In any league game it would've been a goal.

The first given goal comes just minutes later because the same unlucky Dane had his hand on the ball in the penalty zone. A hand play one doesn't really have to give.
Either way, the penalty let to the 1:0. The second d goal was just a very nice and legitimate long pass.

Mostly 'cause I have a hunch that an important match between Turkey and Germany will generate weeks of boring drama, no matter who wins and no matter if our team will include more or less Turkish players than usual.
