Little bit of tekken salt. He's awful with King. All he can do is spam the triple low kick or grab. Both of which are countered by ducking and both can be checked with fast pokes.

Wew, classic! I can't dive into that yet but just from the first matches, complaining about overheads in Tekken is peak DSP! :lol:

Every time he tries to throw and gets ducked, he calls it random or a game bug. He truly understands nothing of Tekken fundamentals.

There are total noobs out there he's playing against who can't do a combo longer than 3 hits, but they already know more about how to play Tekken on a basic level than he does. He beats them only because he memorized a juggle combo and spams launchers. So the risk/reward is stacked in his favor. But they know how to move, poke and defend, so once they add in the combo piece, they'll be far superior as players to him. Meanwhile, the pig will never improve from his scrub strat of launcher into combo.

He switched to Jun recently and he does the same shit. Learns 1 combo and then spams either low sweeps, launchers or high throws. It's not a mixup when you can duck 90% of everything he has. :lol:

At least he doesn't try to play King anymore. He requires far more work on spacing than Phil is even aware of.

Man, this really is some classic DSP stuff! I lost count how often he whiffed by a nautical mile, gets punished and doesn't even understand why he got hit.

"Oh right, random fucking super, dood!", the Goutboy yells, as his character is shown mid-animation of a standing 3 a full wavedash length away from the opponent. :lol:

He thinks every figtan has Super Turbo bullshit mechanics. Sometimes I like to watch some Fightcade FT10 and FT5 matches, and boy how boring the Super Turbo ones are. Specially if it involves Guile, Sagat or Balrog.

That's all fine and dandy, until you remember that Super Turbo was absolutely laced with option select whiff punishes.
Not pushing buttons when unsafe, let alone so far away you couldn't possibly hit, should be a familiar concept to him.

Yet from him playing Tekken you'd think he was a variety streamer that never touched a fitan gaem.

I bet back in the day when he lost in arcades he would also say it was because of online lag..

Also, when he talks about fighting games, isn’t it funny that he keeps calling himself an OG? Like he thinks he is some gangster rapper that hung out with Tupac?
