If they're Boomers, I kind of excuse it. They were a big part of their youth, even though it was completely media-manufactured. I understand nostalgia. But I don't like the religiosity of the fandom... statements like "The Beatles changed the world" said with 100% zealous sincerity.

I hate people my age and younger that try and act like they were part of Beatlemania. Just stop. They were an OK band that had a few good songs. They also had some real pretentious dreck towards the end there.
