So my informants have brought attention to another Kicksharter that I find fascinating in a morbid kind of way:

Oh look, it's Vampire: The Antifa. I guess the premise is cool and all, but the game has this weird insistence on drinking the blood of Hitler. Keep that in mind for later.

And here's the first confusing bit. Near as I can tell from the description the game is a glorified standalone adventure scenario, so every game starts with you getting air-dropped into Paris.
So how will faffing around in Paris get you closer to "drinking Hitler's blood"? Isn't the Eastern Front closer to Berlin? And it's even full of commies and concentration camps full of more commies and minorities.
Then again, I assume this is one of those WWII games that doesn't want to depict or even mention actual nazi war crimes, so they probably set this in the Western Front so the players won't go "In which direction is Auschwitz?"

See what I said when I called this a glorified adventure scenario? Also, how do you get from Paris to the Führer boss fight in 3 sessions? I'm just gonna assume Hitler's hanging out in occupied Paris for some reason.

"Meaningful flashbacks"? This will sound even more stupid once you find out you can only play pregenerated characters.
And why use the term "fascist" when your dealing with actual, literal nazis for once?
I'm also getting meaningful flashbacks to Extreme Meatpunks Forever in that both games proudly advertize that the game is about fash bashing.
Guys, this is a roleplaying game. If you want to bash the fash you can do this in any game. Even Golden Sky Stories (aka My Neighbor Totoro - Kemonomimi Edition).

It tells one story, it tells it loud, and it tells it brilliantly.

Somewhat egoistic variation of the filler phrase "loud and proud". Also not really on board with only being able to play one story.

Why? You're already getting way more money than you'd actually need. What's even weirder is that all the stretch goals are about giving backers more physical trinkets and pimping out the look of the book.
Ever heard of Mörk Borg? It's a barebones grimdark D&D clone that would've probably already been forgotten under the flood of minimalist OSR dreck - if it didn't have varied and downright schizophrenic layout and illustrations (pick 2 random pages from Mörk Borg and they probably won't even look like they're from the same game).
What I'm trying to get at is that these folks want in on that Mörk Borg money, trying to sell a glorified artbook to collectors that probably won't ever actually play this.

Fuck it really is trying to be the next Mörk Borg. It may only have 72 pages, but I have no doubt in my mind that the PDF will easily be over 100 MBs. Indie hacks hate compressing their PDF images, even though a compressed version takes only a fraction of the MB and is virtually indistinguishable from the "full" deal.

Anything about the actual game part of this?

And here's the stunning and brave team that will make this book happen:

• One writer and one artist (aka the ones who do all the work)
• One producer (I guess he also does actual work)
• One cultural consultant (he's qualified for tis because his father served in WWII)
• Sensitivity Reader No. 1 (Easy Mode; sounds relatively normal aside from being associated with Vampire: The Masquerade)
• Sensitivity Reader No. 2 (Medium; just your average queer antifa commie)
• Sensitivity Reader No. 3 (Hard Mode; non-binary disabled mixed-race Jew with multiple pronoun options. A quick google search tells me the "mixed-race" is "Romani-Indigenous-Welsh" and that it is also "neurodivergent", but I can't find anything specific about the exact "disabled" status aside from the autistic bit; funny how these people only ever say "disabled" as if that isn't one of the widest possible spectrums to talk about.)

tl;dr: If you really want to fight nazis as vampires, just use Savage Worlds or either version of Vampire. It even fails as an artsy book because the main artist posts better stuff for free on twitter:

I don't think they really have the space to flesh out much of anything. Remember there's only 72 pages - and that's with the "lavish" and "brilliant" illustrations. If you go by raw text alone this is probably closer to 50 pages, maybe even less depending on how many full page illustrations they have.
You also have to consider that antifa games are primarily written by people that are already on board. Just accept this violent power fantasy and don't ask questions.

Though I guess you can't rule out the existence of nazi vampires as well. Even Sigmata (weird revolutionary/antifa cyberpunk thing with radio-powered cyborgs for some reason) admitted that The Enemy (tm) might have the same kind of special snowflakes as you.
