Who or what inspires your ink?
When I was young, I was very inspired by strong, spooky women with a lot of body mod. I come from a conservative household where no one experimented with their appearance, and I was very much drawn to strong, artsy looks. Because I have BDD, I struggle to perceive my appearance accurately, but getting tattoos has made me feel more comfortable with myself. It’s so important for me to feel like I am in control of my body, my choices, and how I express myself. Every tattoo is a small victory.
