She was tiptoeing around the number, she never stated the original number that was offered, but she said the initial number was "too low", so what pissed her off was when they continued on without her (which probably explains why you can play as multiple characters). So when she finally got around to contacting them again, they figured the game was already 90% finished so they could just have her fill in some lines, but she didn't like the even lower offer than the initial one.
