I've seen this comparison, the guy is fairly level-headed (not your typical raging soycuck) and to be fair, the trailer for Rob Zombie's version looked like ass compared to the old stuff. Which, given that it was pretty much a sitcom from 60's or so, is really pathetic.

I've never heard of this until like a year ago (this goes for a lot of US pop culture shit), but apparently the show retained sort of cult following.

I think there is some level of charm to a lot of old properties like The Munsters, but people who expect a cinematic masterpiece from a film adaptation of a 60's horror-sitcom are asking for way too much.

Apparently Universal had his balls in a vice to the point they wouldn't let Grandpa the count have his cigars, let alone the fact they refused to do the entire film in black and white. It tells you a lot about how Universal is fucking up their own properties, look at their "Dark Universe" that ended up being a disaster.
