It looks like you can use the horse to dodge every single enemy encounter that isn't specifically in a fucking dungeon (enemies barely react to mounted players), thus making the game worse than any souls game before it. That it runs badly (like every Fromsoft game on release) is just a topper.

You can cheese a lot of encounters with the horse yes.
