I assume you have played all that inti creates shit, Voice? I've been feeling the urge to play another mega man zero game. Is gunvolt shit? It seems shit. Maybe I should just replay zero 2.

Pretty sure I've played just about everything they have to offer, except for the most recent Gunvolt spinoff. That one surprised me a bit since I thought they'd focus on completing that 3rd Gunvolt game they've announced ages ago.

Gunvolt is overall a bit meh compared to the Zero titles. You never really get cool new weapons or special attacks, just different kinds of shots (which you rarely feel like you actually need because at the end of the day you're always just taggin' and zappin').
The auto-dodge feature can also lead to major frustration if you rely on it too much and then run into bosses with attacks that can't be auto-dodged.
The first game is a bit weird since the initial English release had a garbage translation, with missing boss dialogue and no voice acting. They later patched in all that stuff, but you have to switch to the good version manually since the default is still the garbage version. Extra weird is that the better version is named in a way that makes it sounds it's 100% Japanese.
The 2nd game is more like it, since you can play as Copen for about half the content. Dude's way more fun to play. He gets actual sub-weapon from bosses like in the good old days and has a jetpack that makes him more fun to control.

Copen's so popular that not only will the 3rd game apparently make Gunvolt more like him, but they also gave him his own spinoff serious with Luminous Avenger. They're a bit confusing if you haven't played the first Gunvolt (since the games are set in an alternate future based on the first game's bad ending), but they're much closer to the Zero games in terms of grim darkness.

Probably the dumbest n00b question I have ever asked here, but fuck it: How much H-game is there in Sakura Wars? I feel the franchise would be a lot weirder if there wasn't quality H time.

As far as i know the series started on those same jap PCs which run smut like Marine Philt and Dead of the Brain, so if there ever was hentai in the games, it was in those releases.
I believe the console games are just Persona with isometric turn based battles replacing dungeons.

Footage of the first spinoff game (luminous avenger or whatever) was what got me thinking Gunvolt might not be complete ass. That, and the fact Inti did create the Zero games while working for Capcom. I know they have the ability to make good games. It just seems like they refuse to put out another game with Zero-esque gameplay.

Apparently that fabled 3rd game will have a playable sword waifu, so maybe they're slowly going back to Zero gameplay.
Or play their other title Dragon Marked For Death. The Empress character/class is basically Fantasy Zero (minus the wall jumping; that ability belongs to Fantasy Copen).
