Miles probably goes from home to job, then back to home to watch his beloved B-movies and indulge in whatever other nerdy and solitary hobbies he has, no time or opportunity to socialize outside of his job because he (wisely) doesn't want/care for dating any of his colleagues (male or female). People are meant to be with each other, and isolating is no good. It's one of the most basic drives. But modern critical theorists think "human nature" is just a creation of the patriarchy designed to oppress us, so they think people not marrying or having kids will be just fine.

You're reading too much into that. Miles now probably do desk job, he doesn't go out and patrol and interact with people in his capacity as a cop. So he literally goes home-job-home and has very little social interaction. He is too timid/too feminist/too disinterested to engage the grocer shop cashier or whatever other women he happens to interact in a professional manner. He doesn't go out on social events to have the chance to interact with the ladies, because going out is a waste of time and money. So he is pretty content to live on his routine, watch whatever shitty flick Gay Baumann recommends in their B-Movie Discord group, and now take care of his broken older brother.

Yeah, it would take a woman throwing herself at him for her to have a chance of getting his floppy dick (maybe, if he isn't gay), but there's also a chance he would simply refuse a woman doing that because that would upset his little life system going on. And in the end, isn't that what life should be about?
