Their best days have been long behind them for years, but the last 6 months have been absolutely brutal. They are completely washed up and just going through the motions...barely.
They all look so miserable. They need to take some time off and stop watching movies and being youtubers for a few months. Maybe see if they can get some passion back. Otherwise they're on track to be James Rolfe in no time.

I can't picture how anyone can watch these clowns at full speed. It's nearly an hour per video! I will occasionally see what they say but only at something like 3.8x speed in mpv. Suddenly they're a digestable in under 10 minutes.
Re: Reddit Letter Media
Their videos are too long, with Half in The Bag episodes regularly being near an hour and BOTW episodes regularly being nearly an hour and a half long. That made the Matrix Resurrections Half in the Bag much worse because they basically said the same thing of liking how meta it was for nearly an hour. BOTW would be fine if it was shorter. They're not going to change this strategy considering they're still getting good viewcounts for their videos with higher ad revenue because of the longer run times of their videos.Guest wrote: ↑Sun Jan 02, 2022 8:35 pmI can't picture how anyone can watch these clowns at full speed. The big issue is Youtube penalizing people for taking a break. Good Bad Flicks talked about how his videos went down in views after he took a break when his best friend died. Taking a months long break could be disastrous for RLM when their fans have been used to several videos a month. If their schedule was similar to Jontron or Contrapoints, then it wouldn't been an issue. The only way they could take a break is stockpile a bunch of videos and set them up to be released in the future, otherwise they just have to keep doing what they're doing.Guest wrote: ↑Sun Jan 02, 2022 8:34 pmTheir best days have been long behind them for years, but the last 6 months have been absolutely brutal. Don't they have a payacon? It's generally a smart idea not to rely on one platform both for income and as a distribution model cause you never know what'll happenGuest wrote: ↑Sun Jan 02, 2022 8:47 pmThe big issue is Youtube penalizing people for taking a break.

You're a n00b if you haven't found a way to double or triple dip for each bit of internet content you produce.

Re: Reddit Letter Media
They do have a patreon. However the issue is Youtube is the only game in town for distribution unless you want to go to obscurity using other platforms like DailyMotion, Odysee, or Bitchute. Even if they kept their current viewers if they took a break, they risk a big chance that their videos won't be recommended as much anymore thus hurting their channel's growth, long term prospects, and thus begins their stagnation. A good example is when Doge quit doing NC. Older viewers said they stopped watching Doge when he quit NC. What if the same thing happens to RLM if they took a months long break? At best they should take a week or two off. Even then they should have a video or two scheduled to be released so they won't take a financial hit for taking a break. They have to keep going so their channel grows and get more patrons and viewers in case their older viewers/patrons decide to stop watching/supporting them. That's the big issue with self-employment. You have more freedom in how you do your work, but you have much less security than a regular employee.Guest wrote: ↑Sun Jan 02, 2022 8:59 pmDon't they have a payacon? Re: Reddit Letter Media
This is the standard with Youtubers having Patreons, merchandise, podcasts, doing livestreaming etc. Youtubers really had to focus on that ever since 2017 when Youtube started to demonetize videos big time.VoiceOfReasonPast wrote: ↑Sun Jan 02, 2022 9:03 pmYou're a n00b if you haven't found a way to double or triple dip for each bit of internet content you produce.

I mean, if you're not willing to watch something at the normal speed, you probably shouldn't be watching it in the first place. It's not like you're watching them to gain some hard knowledge - it's mostly just an entertainment.Guest wrote: ↑Sun Jan 02, 2022 8:35 pmI can't picture how anyone can watch these clowns at full speed. I believe it's mainly just years of alcoholism catching up to them, especially since the restrictions of COVID - they now always have immediate access to booze. They're visibly becoming less coherent, doubt if taking a break would make any difference at this point.
Re: Reddit Letter Media
Rlm has aken a serious dive the last 6 months. Botw used to have energy to it, but man they come off as miserable old men now. Mike is also waving his hands around in a very effeminate way. He's starting to look and act like an old queen. It took avgn years to to fall like this. At this rate I'm sensing more of a spoony kind of crash before that long.
