I think Linkara is completely wasted as a comic reviewer. I wonder if he could take acting lessons and become a character actor who just plays a version of himself? He's such an odd-ball he would work well in any 30's to 50's period piece.

This is just completely optimistic. There's a reason Brad Jones is the only one to have done acting outside of CA movies because he was the only decent actor out of all of them. It wouldn't surprise me if Brad eventually gave up doing Cinema Snob to do more acting.

Not saying he needs to be some broad actor, just that he has to play himself: an overly self-important bitchy nerd wearing 1940's era clothing. Plop him in a sitcom, or some period piece, and he'd be perfect. Imagine the hero has to go to some archive to research something, and in comes master librarian Linkara, bitchy and having none of it. When asked he says "It'll be done when it's done. The newspaper archive retrieval process has NO SET SCHEDULE."
