The "Third Reich Mike" meme started in 2013 on /tv/ when Garrett Gilchrist, a former close friend of Mike and Jay, vaguely stated that Mike comes from a racist family. He said that in a livestream with a tiny audience while answering question from chat after a bunch of fa/tv/irgings discovered his youtube channel and subsequently his streaming account. Gilchrist isn't a reliable narrator, maybe he was just butthurt about Mike after their falling out, or maybe he was just drunk.

That livestream is also the source of the "I'm dying, Lauren" story and the "Classic Gilchrist" maymay.

There is no reliable source that Mike "kill the ape with a videotape" Stoklasa is right-wing except some loser babbling stuff on his livestream and a bunch of shitposts on various chans, the only people that truly believe that about are a bunch of underage newfags who don't know the context of those memes.
