Bullshit. They will never stop doing that. It's practically mandated by (twitter) law. More diverse productions - like Eternals - have flopped, and this Netflix show is really just a blip on the radar. It came and went with normies probably not even noticing.
And diversity? Really? Your main protagonists were a chick, an Asian and a black person. That's about the level of diversity as the first season of Mighty Morphin Power Rangers.
And this won't doom live-action animu. The white devil will never stop, for he lusts after adapting established IPs and animu is one of the biggest and largely untapped markets left. There will always be someone who wants to get a foothold into the market, probably in hopes of copying Marvel's success at adapting their capeshit archives.
They haven't even adapted some of the actual big ones, like Sailor Moon - which no doubt will have a black Mercury (because she's the nerd and infantilized nerd chicks of color are a fetish) and at least two queermos (Jupiter by virtue of being a tomboy, and Uranus because they will probably put one or two of her lines out of context to prove that she was always "enby" or genderfluid or a transboy or something).
