There's a thriller manwha called Superior Day that's pretty good.

A serial killer and a hitman get in a feud when the serial killer kills one of the hitman's marks, causing him to lose his bounty. So they make a multi million dollar bet where the hitman has to kill the serial killer but can't do it directly. So he abducts the daughter of a dopey stay at home dad who happens to be the killer's neighbor and threatens the dad to do the job for him.

The thing that makes it so engaging is that the hitman and serial killer are both horrible people who are just humanized enough to seem three dimensional and the writer does a good job of getting you to bounce back and forth over which one you hate more and want to see get killed by the other. And you worry about how the dad and his daughter are going to get out ok when he's so completely out of his depth.

He reads shit for his show. I don't for a minute believe Cockslut is out there reading the newest stories. I doubt he knows what East of West is, or has even read the much-overhyped Saga.

Let alone mango or obscure manwha.

Shit I completely forgot about East of West, just kind of fell off it for a while, how's it been?

Also, Linkara's confirmed a few times he refuses to read anything that isn't a DC or Marvel superhero comic, or at least one he thinks is a superhero (He insists Gaiman's Sandman is a superhero. While I like the series, I strongly disagree), unless it's a tie in to a franchise he likes (Ghostbusters and Buffy). He won't even touch Vertigo comics. He does pick up some horror comics for that Longbox of the Damned thing he does, but I doubt he reads them until it's time to make an episode.

A man that I looked up to and was like a second father to me used to work in the comics industry, namely was one of the big names in Charlton comics, and did horror comics for a majority of his career. To say I have a personal affinity to stuff like Tales from the Crypt, Crypt of Terror, Ghostly Tales, etc, would be a bit of a minor understatement.

Then to have some fat fuck show up dressed up like a bad Son of Svengoolie impersonator and talk about Marvel Zombies is... well... yeah.

Sun Ken Rock was fucking amazing tho, lol. Another great Manhwa I loved was Veritas.

I kinda liked The Breaker too, but fuck, season 2 wasnt as interesting as part 2, and they will never make part 3 for the looks of it.

Another one i liked quite a lot was City of Darkness, simply because it was fully colored and shit looked dope (even if the story was kinda derpy and didnt lived up to its potential)

Yeah Veritas is done and I have as much faith that season 3 of The Breaker will come out as I do that Veritas will continue.

I loved veritas because the main character was a thug everyone underestimated. As for the breaker, i agree season 2 isn't as strong, but the scene where the conniving old man decides to save the protagonist and then fucking air juggled the that whole gang of thugs still today gives me chills.
