This Saints Row reboot reminds me of the Walker Texas Ranger reboot where they removed all characters except for Walker, changed his backstory and made the show a family drama about raising kids. Oh, and he doesn't know Karate anymore because according to the schmuck who plays Walker, stereotyping bad guys is bad and "“no one wants to see a police officer walking around randomly kicking people”.

So it's not a reboot of Walker Texas Ranger but a completely different show about a completely different guy coincidentally also named Walker. Same with this Saints Row reboot. It has no link to actual Saints Row except for the name.

It's the woke catch-22. If you portray a jap who knows Karate your're perpetuating harmful stereotypes or some shit but you cannot let a white person know Karate either. The Walker reboot circumvented that by having his latina colleague Karate kicking those evil white male oppressors.
