Dunno about you guys, but my parents would've never accepted me making videos full time, unless they were really paying the billth. Even then, they would've forced me to work at least a half-time proper job.
Lazing in their house well into my 30s and not making any money? Unimaginable!

I think they're just glad he's making money doing something instead of hiding in his room scared of the world. One question on my mind: Has he ever had a job? At least with Allison, LInkara, Lindsay, Spoony, Doge etc have mentioned doing at least a minimum wage job where as I can't recall Mathew ever mentioning any at all.
