The part where that soydev who was at Insomniac said that the people who didn't want the female character to have any feminine traits were him, a tranny and a woman is really telling. As a fan of ratchet and clank and those other ps2 era platformers, it was a real shame to see the series ruined so hard by the hd era. I know people didn't like Deadlocked because the game went full shooter (it's basically halo in third person,) but its story was still as satirical and anti-consoomer as the rest, focusing mainly on the culture of television and how dishonest marketing is.

Skip ahead to current gen ratchet and what do we get? The same jizzney cookie-cutter "I wanna be a hero" bullshit that's copypasta'd into everything nowadays. Why does nu-ratchet wanna be a hero? No reason. Help people. Be a NICE GUY. What a joke. So he joins a HERO ORGANIZATION, which of course has to exist because of course it does. From there, the plot is basically a Mahvul movie. And it's fucking shit. The big plot twist is a retarded alternate take on Ratchet 1's plot twist.

I don't even care if the gunplay in the nu games is good or not. It looks mediocre honestly. But the story is abysmal. The same by-the-numbers sludge that every consoomer product has by now. Capeshit has infected everything.

I'd rather a series die and stay dead, like Sly and Jak, than be resurrected so sjws can shit on it.
