The problem with Current Year wokeshit is that everything must be muh serious.
Very Important, must be believed or else You Die, and so on.

The originals stick to the source material and were an excuse to watch good guys kick ass and fight bad monster dudes. It had what the fans wanted to see, no messages, no fat, no wasted screen time, and was fun.


This new one seems to have a confusing plot that emphasizes the wrong things, nothing that establishes shit thats cool, a character no one's heard of, throw away deaths, taking forever for Scorpion to appear, and Sub-Zero as the bad guy.

In other words--a throwback to the really bad 90s/early 00s capeshit thst studios couldn't get right and audiences hated.

The new one lacks Johnny Cage, the only good thing in that shit show of a franchise, and it's dead on arrival because the producer had the galaxy brain idea of telling it was because he's a white man, instead of making up an excuse.
