Advent Children, that's a movie whose existence I had almost forgotten. I remember I saw it when it was new and I had to check from IMDb, it seems I have given a rating of 3/10, but I remember NOTHING of it. I guess watching it was such horrible experience that my conscious mind rejects that memory as some kind a safety mechanism?

FF7 remake apparently covers only the Midgar part of the original game, that's only something like 1/10th of the story. Another problem with the remake is that at the end of the game your party is able to cast fire 3, summon Bahamut etc. end game spells and summons of the original game. If this remake series is going to have some ridiculous 9 or something sequels, how the fuck they are going to deal with that?

I don't think you can carry over your save to the next episode. They haven't even started with one. It'll probably be two more console generations for it to come out, if at all.

Midgar was more or less your "tutorial stage".
But now with the douchebag at the helm who writes for Kingdom Harts shit, the story got a whole lot more complicated.
And other obnoxious stuff to really go like "HEY REMEMBER THIS REMEMBER THAT? Remember the crazy random encounter that was just a house? Well now it's a boss with its own event around it!"
Man I hate that shit so much.

As for advent children, it's convoluted and really bland. I remember next to nothing either, reading the plot synopsis didn't ring a bell, and I probably remember more about 'Spirits Within' actually, which annoys me.
