I bought a bunch of babylon 5 tv seasons and half the discs arrived scratched to fuck and unplayable. Reddit Cat must be moonlighting with DVDs. I didn't buy them all from the same guy, either, so either reddit cat uses alt accounts or he's running a scratched dvd ring.

Guest is absolutely right. The new transfers they did for iTunes/Amazon/various others are vastly superior to the old DVDs anyway.

Well, yes. I used to sell stuff on Amazon. You'd have no idea the kind of shit I got away with passing off as 'Like New'. I also learned that if a DVD or whatever is brand new and in the shrink wrap, at least the seller couldn't possibly have fucked with it

Read the descriptions in the used section and you’ll be shocked what passes for like new as guest said. I’ve seen games listed as used that were in way better condition than the more expensive like new shit.
