I actually kept thinking it’d be way better if it was more like Fallout, namely in the combat.rabidtictac wrote: ↑Tue Mar 16, 2021 11:50 pmI'd rather play vanilla fallout than kenshi because the former seems way less AIDS.

It could probably benefit from a turn-based mode. The game has a hit location system and all, but you don't have direct control over which parts your characters are hitting.
Autism attracts more autism. Sooner or later, an internet nobody will attract the exact kind of fans - and detractors - he deserves.

Re: What are you playing?
RuneQuest would be closer tbh. Also has hit locations, but deals primarily with meatbags.
Though you might just mean the video game. In that case it's a bit more like MechCommander if that game had melee attacks (most BattleTech adapations ignore those).

Definitely not playing some Harry Potter game cuz they so woke now. Computer guy made videos about Anita Sarkeesian, was fired for not having the right politics.

Exactly like in Battletech.VoiceOfReasonPast wrote: ↑Wed Mar 17, 2021 4:56 pmIt could probably benefit from a turn-based mode. The game has a hit location system and all, but you don't have direct control over which parts your characters are hitting.

But you can, if the target is prone, immobile, or you're rocking a Targeting Computer (with some added loops you have to jump through for headshots).
