How does a Spoony get made? His family seems normal with each sibling having a normal job and contributing to society.

As an expert armchair psychologist, I think it's a mixture of two things: He's the middle sibling, so he received the least amount of attention. And he's a cunt. That's how Spoony gets made, this one just randomly stumbled up on upcoming "industry" of sorts and for a short time, became known and succesful in a very limited way.

Internet reviewing literally ruined him. If he hadn't stumbled upon such a cushy "job" with a built-in audience of weirdos and an endless supply of online welfare he would have been forced to go out in the real world and sink or swim, possibly becoming a well-balanced individual with a family that loved him. Sure, he wouldn't go down in history as the internet's biggest loser, but he also wouldn't have everyone celebrating his demise when he finally freezes to death under a bridge while screaming "BETRAYAL! BETRAYED ME!"



His life is literally this scene but gayer.

Today's Noah was created when he found out that he could become popular, desirable and even successful by amplifying his worst qualities on the internet.

He was probably a quiet, bookish kid and young adult who longed to be the center of attention and even imagined himself as the brash, bold and brilliant hero when he was, in reality, none of those things.

Imagine the dopamine hit he got when he found out that by making himself the center of every story he was lauded instead of scorned as a bullshit artist.

I've always thought the downfall of Spoony was the counter monkey video he did on the Vampire: the Masquerade LARP where he single handedly brings down the entire game society on his own and with no help from anyone else. The entire situation is a narcissistic wet dream: I enter an unfamiliar situation, I immediately assess the situation, I am wronged, I act decisively to create a brilliant solution to my problems, I walk off with all those who wronged me gazing in awe at my brilliance.

Also... I stand by what I said about him being a salesman:. He could start out on phones taking live leads and learning to build rapport with clients and build some confidence as a salesman. If he cleaned himself up he could easily transition into selling cars or being in the more serious part of insurance selling to business and corporate clients.

Obviously he couldn't do any of this looking like the girl from the Ring like he does now.

IF that even happened to begin with, that's how I see things happened: the GM of that Vampire LARP probably laughed his ass off and didn't even tell the other players until after the game, where they all had a good laugh at Noah.

Imagine being laughed by a bunch of Vampire the Masquerade LARPers. Now imagine the laughs are 100% deserved.

This part is true. But he was always like this. His Livejournal confirms it. He was always a covert narcissist. Always thinks only about himself, hates working, but wants to be famous and important. Has he gotten worse? His fragility seems to have increased.

Look at this joker! There is an old blog of his, where he was whining about his existence before he moved everything onto his site, and even before his IN career, he was an insufferable douchebag that everybody hated. He was always useless, but at least he still had some ambitions. Time just made everything worse, which applies to most of these self-centered manchildren - what was acceptable in your twenties, because you still had time, isn't acceptable in your fourties, because you actually are expected to be a fucking adult, going well into your midlife crisis. But they haven't even ended the teenage crisis, it would seem.

I especially love that when he was writing for that magazine (which he was ultimate fired from for being edgy cunt nobody liked), they added markings for his page so people could cut the page from the magazine. He was that despised - it could be cute for a joke, but it wasn't. The edgy Antwiler was just too much for some people to handle even back in the days! And even if half of what he used to talk about in his counter-monkey series actually happened, all he wanted to do when he still played D&D was to be a smartass that annoys literally everyone around him. Comedy! Poor Noah just didn't know how to make normal people (D&D nerds are Chads compared to TGWTG audience back in the day) like him.

You are high as a kite. This fucker never wanted to actually work. He ran away from the job his dad got him, which could've turned into a well paid, well respected career. He wasted his college degree, because he was a fucking bum that just wanted to make money by running his mouth - Noah didn't wanted to become an engineer, he wanted to be an artist. And when he couldn't he at least turned into one who is better than all of those actual artists - which is traits that most of the nobodies share - they couldn't even get into the field they wanted to (acting, directing, making video games, writing comic books, faggotry and general degeneracy in Linkara's case), so they became "funny" critics.

Yes, all his bad traits eventually got worse, so bad that he became completely useless, but he was always a dick. That's what's so pathetic about him and gets even more pathetic the longer he continues existing.

I remember actually seeing that video about his Vampire LARP story and even back then I was thinking to myself "Yeeeah no, that didn't happen. At least not like this".
The majority probably played out in his head, but the part I do believe is that he was eventually asked to please vacate the premises.

I always liked Noah’s smart-assed approach. It spoke of a guy that generally understood why things were shit and told it like it was, instead of sugar coating it. Sure, it made him sound like an asshole, but he was very rarely wrong, in my opinion and usually on point and direct. People just got pissy with him because he was basically calling everyone retarded and... the truth hurts, I guess.

Prime example was his Spoony V Joss Whedon vlog, where he bitches on stream about Cabin in the Woods.

- Is jumped on and called “wrong”
- Noah offers people to defend, they cannot, or don’t understand how
- retards double down on praise with no context, trying not to look retarded

This was par the course. Like his older stuff or not. He might have been a shit about it, but you can’t really say he was wrong. Well, I suppose you could but... see above.
