Speaking of peak, I've noticed that during this year, his views tanked hard. I remember that his NC videos were usually getting at least a million. Now he's struggling to get a half million for most of them.

The wall review probably caused the views decline. It made Doge a punchline, so much so even the Irate Gamer made a joke at his expense because of that review. The views for the channel aren't that bad, as they are still getting about 10 million views every month. They also don't have a patreon so it's clear that they can't be hurting that bad financially if that's the case.

He got facts wrong, committed hypocrisy, did very little actual reviewing and inserted elongated, cringey skits. In other words, a typical nu-NC review. Why it got so much backlash when it was just business as usual, I dunno. Maybe cause the film is more widely beloved than the usual schlock he reviews?.

I imagine it more about criticising the album then the actual film I haven’t seen the film or the review just a guess. All I know is that it really pissed off Fagtano and Crash Thompson and that’s never a bad thing.
