Re: Star Dreck
Star Trek Enterprise got bad rep, but it was such a stronger prequel. It had a consistent and likable crew, and the way they developed Vulcan(and Andoria) from being anti-Earth to what we know of them today was great. Plus, it just felt a whole lot less frenetic. With Discovery, it feels like every second is the most important this and OMG pay attention to that. Just fucking chill out already, cut the Burnham glorification and don't rely on TOS lore 24/7, then maybe, *maybe* you'd have something.
Re: Star Dreck
Enterprise is infinitely better than Discovery. But let's not pretend that Enterprise was good.Rushy wrote: ↑Tue Dec 22, 2020 7:02 pmStar Trek Enterprise got bad rep, but it was such a stronger prequel. True I suppose. Zero times infinity is in fact undefined.Guest wrote: ↑Tue Dec 22, 2020 7:14 pmEnterprise is infinitely better than Discovery. Well, it had klessik Trek pacing, not the new shit where everyone is always running and screaming through explosions and disruptor fire.

Is this series still going? I thought it died with Discovery?

"Go go go!" and "punch it!" are literally the only lines I remember from the JJ movies.VoiceOfReasonPast wrote: ↑Tue Dec 22, 2020 7:56 pmWell, it had klessik Trek pacing, not the new shit where everyone is always running and screaming through explosions and disruptor fire.

Well yeah but like...who's even watching? Oldfags don't seem to like it, and as we all know the cult of social justice doesn't actually enjoy anything.

I don't think this is a show kept alive for profit reason. Cancelling it would prove those mean sexist racists correct.
