I think this is going to happen everywhere eventually. I think the porn industry is going to get behind this movement because free porn has been killing them for decades.

Doesn't matter if they do, because they can't stop the signal. Killing their websites won't do a thing to stop porn consumption. Do you know how much porn has been produced already? How many hours? How much of it has been downloaded by ordinary internet users?

Even if porn was made illegal tomorrow around the entire world, it would not slow porn consumption at all. I'm sure I'm not the only one here who doesn't need internet access to find porn. Even supposing you're one of those who only streams it and never downloads, it would take all of a day for some anon to set up a fileshare website and dump several terabytes of porn there for download. Given all this, why would anyone pay for porn?

Paid porn has never been able to compete with free porn, but they are also not able to do anything about free porn. Deleting all that porn from pornhub just hurts pornhub. It drives people looking for those types of videos to other websites that will host them. Pornhub isn't YouTube and it doesn't have a stranglehold on the market. Not even close.

Banning loli porn will probably happen at some point because there is an argument to be made that the virtual images depict illegal sex acts, even though no child is harmed directly. A legal argument will continue to be made against that type of material and I've seen more and more of that sort of thing restricted over time. Again, not talking about real life pedoshit, which is already illegal. But the japshit loli moe rape stuff could get banned. Unverified porn in general, however? Hell no. Pedos already use Tor and obscure filesharing sites to distribute their kind of porn, which is not only illegal mostly everywhere, but also widely despised. Distributing normal porn over the same channels would be a piece of cake, and even would help to mascarade pedoshit under the traffic. That is indeed the most serious issue we're currently facing (and it will only become worse), which is the only reason why I'd keep Dick Masterson around since I'd like to hear his first-hand experiences in dealing with those guys for NewProject2.

Another serious problem is that internet infrastructure, which was supposed to be neutral, decided to become completely pozzed after Cloudflare dropped Stormfront and 8chan. I remember reading that 8chan could be completely banned from the internet if just a dozen of top-level entities decided to completely blacklist them, and the only way around that is to hide on TOR, I2P or ZeroNet, which are all cumbersome to use (and, in case of ZeroNet, outright dangerous).

I'm all in for going back to the golden age of the sekrit internet club, gather around on censorship- and moderation-laxed forums and imageboards and leave Der Normalfag to rot away on fucking social media as much as they want, but I'm afraid that it will not be possible unless something in the infrastructural aspect of the internet changes.
