He bitches about his fucking life all day, every day on twatter. He constantly goes down the list of how much he's suffering, how many ailments he has, how little food he can eat, how bad he feels etc. All the fucking time.

Then someone with a much worse problem (actual health issues) comes up to him and tells him to deal with it like an adult and that other people have it worse and still manage to be positive. And THAT is the moment when Spoony pulls out the tired narc line, "it's not a competition about who has it worse."

And why is it not a competition? Only because he knows he'd lose. If someone with fewer problems tried the exact same thing on him, would he say it's not a competition? Of course not. If someone with smaller problems told him to get his shit together, he'd say "well, you don't have it as bad as I do so you can't say anything." Or "you don't understand how much I'm suffering and I hope you never do." Some humblebrag bullshit like that.

20 years ago, this kind of "up-one's-ass" would've irked me to no end, but compared to the new non-binary, pronoun-preference, made-up sexuality, entitled shits that saturate twitter and this here DHI, an old-fashioned poetic looney is kind of refreshing. I think often of how Spoony used to shit on Evangelion in his FF8 video - I'm sure it was because Shinji is kind of a whiny character.
