Nah, I used to go by Drewdoghimself. I remember being banned back in the day, I believe it was because I asked if anyone had the original Mashable upload of Spoony's victory speech. I had it queued up before going to work that day, came back home to watch it, and poof it was gone.

I never found that anywhere, it's the "London After Midnight" of Angry Reviewer clips. That was back in the day where I assumed it was all Scarlet's doing when it came to grilling banmeat. But then I watched the live TGWTG donation drive, where a fan donated money to Spoony so he could ask when Spoony would review FF9, only for Spoony to snark at the guy after taking his money, hanging up on him, and everyone in the room (including Linkara) mocked the caller. That's when I finally started realizing what a toxic narcissist the guy was, took me way longer than it should have.

The only time Spoony ever responded to me was when I asked him about the Mother series on Twitter, and upon hearing I liked the game, proceeded to keep shitting on it for 4-5 tweets. I'm surprised he hasn't blocked me yet, but maybe it's because I haven't used the word "Patreon" yet.

Think of it like immigration. If you go the mass immigration route then the immigrants start outnumbering the host population and fuck up the culture. If you only have a small amount at a time and they assimilate then it works fine. Le Redditeur was one of you but he fit in fine, but if Nool decides to nuke the farms we will be flooded with kiwi refugees who will turn it into The Farms 2.0 if we aren't openly racist hostile. Lashing out at newfags is our way of building a wall.

That's a good point, well said. I just like reading both sources because Spoony deserves all the shit he gets -- has for a long, long time. But joining the Spoony Discord? THAT was a mistake I quickly backed out of, instantly got jumped by a furry admin and "noped" the hell out of there to spare my own sanity.

I even politely accepted his first response, thanked him for it, but after saying it was my favorite game he smelled blood in the water and decided to double down on being a complete asshole. He said the music was "unacceptably bad" -- despite using the Onett theme in one of his earlier videos, and just. wouldn't. shut up. My phone kept beeping with replies, and that was finally the moment where I bailed on him.

When I realized I hadn't been blocked yet, I decided to do some "charity work" and do the review FOR him. I'm surprised that his fangirl Rachel hasn't come after me in the night with an elbowdrop and a bag of coke.
