There are going to be 2 Netflix series though. Those are what you're probably thinking of. One is called Resident Evil: Infinite Darkness, a CGI series with Leon and Claire. That one follows the story of the games. The other is a live action series that is either its own thing or it follows the canon of the Paul W.S. Anderson movies, it's unclear right now.

Kaya Scodelario (chick on the left) would have been a better Jill. She was in the last Pirates movie, that alligator foot fetish movie that nearly killed Tarantino, and has a bunch of leaked noods out there.

The reboot seems intent on at least getting the sets right. Here's a pic of the front of the RPD. Pretty close to what you see in the games...



There are also pics floating around of the Spencer mansion. It's obviously not 1:1 with the game, but if it gives off a creepy vibe onscreen, that would be enough for me.

That being said, I don't think I'll be seeing the movie, but I will check out Infinite Darkness since my buddy has Netflix.

Infinite Darkness may be okay, the CGI movie are at least dumb fun. The other Netflix series is gonna be focused on the “Wesker Kids” which sounds fucking dumb, whatever that means.

That set does look good though. Remember in the second movie how they got the S.T.A.R.S. acronym wrong and changed service to squad? Dumbasses.
