I read that Harlan Cuckoldson was mad about the ending and thought the final line was sexist.
The fuck is sexist about that line?
Ellison didnt like the fact that the dog deliberately said they ate the bitch at the end and enjoyed it. Instead of just leaving it to the reader's imagination (like they could've just raped her corpse, or whatever).

Cobra (1986)
The first 25 minutes of that movie are cinematic perfection.
Everything up to the end of him watching the news in his apartment, cleaning his gun with egg carton oil.
SpoilerShow
  • The way he sips he beer in the store before blasting a guy. Waste not.
  • The way he rips that Mexican's shirt off, where you can see his microphone taped to his chest underneath.
  • The only proper way to respond to a smug press dick asking if he used 'too much excessive force:

    "I used everything I had!"
The rest of the movie is fine--especially how he meat hooks the greasy slasher and roasts him at the end.
But it's hard to beat that magnificent opening.

80s Stallone at the absolute divine peak of his mortal powers.
My dream home is in a place like in that Gloria Estephon song: right on the beach next to an old school Pepsi billboard.

Also Film Bald years ago shat on this movie.
That's all I needed to know to rightly conclude he was a waste of a Y chromosome.
...and still: Spoony did nothing.

And wasn't the negress in I Have No Cock And I Must Fap nothing but a backstabbing whore (a recurring archetype of his)?
She was afraid of the colour yellow, because she got raped by a guy wearing a yellow jacket or something. Blah blah trauma blah.
The ape dude was a faggot and was turned by AM into the thing he is with a massive cock. He'd fuck the chick and she couldn't find pleasure with anything but his mega dong.

I don't remember if AM even would've allowed the guy that loved her to bang her. I think having her ravaged by the monkey dude was combined torture for all three of them.
It's been a while since I've heard the audio book.

How realistic is the moaning?

Other good post-apocalypse movies, anyone?
Fist of the North Star, Live-Action Edition.

It's read by Harlan himself. There is no sex scene in it.

His performance as AM in the gayme was pretty good tho.
TEEEEEEEEEED!
I hear they changed some stuff around for that one though to make it more kid friendly.
The German version can't even be completed with the "best" ending since the entire nazi chapter is mysteriously missing.
Since we never had any of those, no sirree

The famous butchered Kraut version is a historical footnote, as the uncut original is the only version you can get digitally, anyways.

And they changed a lot. The game only really keeps the cast and general premise. The events itself are way different, and it includes a lot more backstory and characterization.
Of course, it has no mention of the big ape dick orgies, just the rapist in yellow.

I'd love to see the "director's cut" of Cobra as they cut out pretty good chunk out of the movie. Same with Nighthawks which had Rutger Hauer as a baddie .

The Postman is not nearly as horrible as it's considered. It's not a great movie, but it came out when hating Costner became fashionable and critics wanted to tear him down.

Isn't JJ Abrams in his 50s now? At what point does he actually become "the next Spielberg," especially since Spielberg was already Spielberg in his 20s?

Hot take: Ready Player One, one of the laziest, most generic movies ever made is superior to anything Abrams has done.

Hottest of takes: Duel is Spielberg's best movie.
