Did he turn the role down? I wouldn't blame him for that.

He needs to shave his head completely. Clinging to the last bit of hair he has ages him worse in my opinion.
He could even just put on a hat when he's on camera.

Now that Jared Leto best Joker is coming back, does that mean Facebook Lex is back on board?

It's like they don't actually want to compete with Marvel

Look at the head, it was about time, half of his hair ran away already:

That could be the most miscast role ever.
Personally, I'll go with Olyphant in Shitman:

Mona Sax Mila Kunis would beg to differ.
I couldn't believe how shit the whole movie was, it's not like well casted Mona would've saved it. That's really small potatoes if they casted some silly bitch on top of everything else...

Reminder: if you ever watch Hitman watch the unrated version. Fox was going through it's PG-13 phase at the time, hence the terrible Max Payne movie where he beats people up instead of shooting them John Woo-style, and because of the backlash against Die Hard 4 Tweens they made Hitman "R" but cut out entire scenes of violence to tone it down like the faggots they were.

The second Hitman is better directed but everyone forgets it exists.

Max Payne's biggest issues are that it's simply an awful movie on it's own, barely having anything to do with the game. I've only recently seen Face/Off and boy, is that movie a fucking blast! John Woo knows his shit, and sadly, they didn't get him to direct it, but no matter who directed it, the script was plain awful and would have to be completely rewritten anyways.

But the director certainly doesn't help. There are few actions scenes in Maximum Painfulness: The Movie, and they are all terrible, it's clear that the director had no idea how to make a shootout exciting.

Weird that Face/Off is having this renaissance all of a sudden. I saw it a million times when I was a kid, but now I find it one of Woo's lesser American movies. It's too artificial and overly choreographed, and all those visible wires whenever anyone gets shot or climbs something is ridiculous. It's like a greatest hits of Woo-isms, and was basically the beginning of his decline as an action director.

Nobody ever talks about Hard Target or Broken Arrow, and they really don't talk about Black Jack or Once A Thief (tv movie). First two are among his best movies, while the latter two are ridiculously underrated action movies.

Couldn't find that sweet warehouse shootout, so here's a promo:

Woo only directed the pilot movie. After Fox passed, some shitty Cucknadian company made a goofy Cucknadian series out of it.

Blackjack is cheesy as hell but it's got really great action scenes for being yet another tv pilot. Unfortunately for us, there was no series made, so sit back and get high off that crazy late-90s style.

I'm going to watch Broken Arrow next, but everybody said that Slater is a wuss in it, and completely overshadowed by Travolta. Which is a problem, you don't want your supposed action lead to be a cuck, especially since Face/Off benefits greatly from the chemistry that Cage and Travolta have.

Well, I've noticed at least one scene. But I didn't watch that movie expecting the greatest action scenes, I didn't even knew it was a Woo movie to begin with, I only found out after I've watched it. When it comes to perfect action, nothing beats Hard Boiled, and I can always just watch that again.

Not up to par for that piece of shit?

Well... that's probably accurate actually.
