Preferring the W1 combat over W2 (or W3) is completely nonsensical. W1 combat is just click-rhythm mini game rather than an actual combat system. You choose your combat style strong-fast-group and just click when the little light tells you to do so. W1 difficulty is also all over the place, the first boss fight is the hardest fight in the game and you have to have the essential coating on your sword or you just can't win the fight (to make things worse, there's also a long-ass dialogue scene before the fight and you have to suffer through it every tiem you die).

I guess that would be Crysissy these days but it was an important game. Aside from the fucky controls, it's still a good game.

Gothic 1 & 2 where the bomb when they originally came out. Not so much the stuff that came afterwards.

And SoyTek is still a thing?

Yeah. They are mostly making money with their engine. Scam Citizen alone needed their tech support so much their likely kept the company afloat on their own.

I just found out that GTA Chinatown Wars is on mobile. It's my favourite GTA and I haven't played it in years so I'll play that on the go from now on.
