A small knife like that is something you carry to give other people when they ask you for a knife, instead of giving them your actual knife and hoping they don't drop it. Or that they don't cut themselves.

It's retarded argumentation, considering that fixed knives with a blade length of up to 12 cm are legal here. The kicker is that while otf automatics are completely illegal to even own, carrying a fixed blade of over 12 cm lenght is a misdemeanor you pay 30 Euros for.
Or in short, unless it's a dagger or karambit you can carry any fixed knife either completely legal or with a slap on the wrist at worst.
