Wait. I know it was late night. But that was allowed on TV?

Why wouldn't it be allowed? The viewer didn't see anything

When was the last time a film made good use of CGI?
Blade Runner 2049 very tastefully used CGI: other than resurrecting Sean Young's face circa 1982 (which was flawlessly done), the CGI was mainly used to enhance the models and sets. Same thing with most of Nolan's films: he has been using CGI ever since Batman Begins, but he always integrates it in a way that doesn't call attention to itself, whereas most blockbusters don't give a shit.

Chinese films outside of the thriller/crime genre are fucking addicted to shitty cgi. It's why soy wars and star dreck/capeshit seem to sell well over there too. The unwashed masses in their rice paddies crave fantasy and blockbuster visuals.

Too bad his movies suck ass and you can't hear them. The crashing airplane scene in Tenent was pretty cool and looked like it was done practically. That fucking pouty white giant completely fucked the whole thing up, though. Dude must want to fuck a 7' 10" woman or something.

Drew Barrymore has a generic soccer mom talk show now, looks old as hell. Remember when she was a fun drug-addicted slut?
David Letterman does

Realizing she was raped by Spielberg on the set of ET puts this in a much different context.

Not Soy Wars. That's how we knew that it was in trouble after The Last Jedi. China gave it the finger during that movie.

Chinese have no nostalgia boner for Star Wars. Can they even show them over there? I know they have a thing about ghosts. Were there even any Force Ghosts in the new Soy Wars?
