I've found you can often uncover hidden gems by being patient with a franchise. As a matter of fact, I'm finishing off the Halloween series right now and that's made up of more good films than bad, I'd say.

Yeah. Not necessarily the quantity itself, though. At least 3/4 of those chapters will make you want to punch Tite Kubo in his overly smug face.
Imagine the most glacial filler you've ever seen in an animu. The Bleach manga is worse. All for the sake of 1-on-1 duels that mainly consist of one-sided curbstomps, asspulls, people explaining their special snowflake powers, and more asspulls.

I've only read a single issue of the Amazing Spider-Man in my life, I don't even know what manga is like. As for anime, I've seen a few Miyazaki films and Le Chevalier D'Eon(is that series considered any good?).

Bleach could be cut in half easily. Similar to Naruto, I think it started off well and over the course of years transformed into something hideous and shitty with no soul. No manga creator starts something just because of money, but if something becomes very successful, they end up doing it just for it. Or they get completely burned out and think they at least try, when in reality they just create shit, so I prefer thinking they do it just for money.
