That doesn't work because they've figured out how to trade food stamps for drugs and guns.

I do think that junk food shouldn't be EBT eligible, personally. All the basic food groups should be, and all the cheap healthy options. Salad mix, carrots, fruit, bread (whole wheat and rye mostly :3), meat, cheese. Maybe popcorn, peanuts and pretzels if you want to be generous. But no other junk food. NO soda. NO chips. NO pastries. NO donuts. NO candy. NO chocolate.

We have an obesity problem in the first world and subsidizing it with food stamps just makes the problem worse.
