Is TeamFourStar still a thing, are they still doing DBZ abridges?

I gotta say, I think DBZ peaked with the Frieza saga but Cell was still pretty good too. After that though the show was pretty much running on steam. There’s still some decent stuff post Cell Saga but there’s so much that you could cut out, like, they could conceivably make 10 good abridged episodes out of it.

I would understand if they stopped at Cell because they were planning for more but just couldn’t muster any enthusiasm for it.

Also DBS is flat out garbage. It’s sad, even DBGT is better.

They're still doing something called DragonShortZ, which afaik is like their Teen Titans Go! to the Teen Titans that was their actual DBZA.

They will never not make something DBZ related, 'cause that's the only content that the vast majority of their fans is interested in. All of their "TFS Originals" fizzled out fast, with shit like DieselDust still only having a pilot episode after 4 months (nice waste of all dem 3D assets).

Atm, they're effectively just shitting out podcasts between DragonShortZ, with the former struggling to break 60k views while the latter frequently gets 1 million.

Yeah I figure these guys are deflated knowing they finally finished the best of DBZ and what’s left is a saga that features a useless Gohan who grew up to be a useless disappointment in a subplot that ends up going nowhere.

People like to dog DBGT but the Majin Boo Saga is basically the creator cashing in paychecks and milking the dead cow for just a little bit longer.

It may be an unpopular opinion in the english speaking net but the Boo saga is probably the second favourite saga in Europe, Brazil / Mexico and of course Japan, right after the Saiyan / Frieza saga. The Cell saga is almost always considered the worst one, saved only due to 18's hot looks and because of Cell himself(the japanese also love Future Trunks to death) because he's voiced by Norio motherfucking Wakamoto and he gives it his all. Hell, according to Tori himself back in the day, it was one of his favourite sagas because he finally got to right humour again and go back to magic and mystical shit he liked, like the Z Sword and Boo himself fucking around with magic from time to time.

Tori milking the dead cow is Super. Toei milking the dead cow is Dragon Ball Heroes(ever since 2006).

The Buu Saga was an odd one to end the series with, but some of the goofier shit like Great Saiyaman and Mr. Satan felt like a faint echo from Vanilla DB.
