Rolex is the epitome of the status symbol as far as actual watches go. Overpriced and not even impressive from a watchmaking standpoint.
I've long since abandoned that scene. A simple G-Shock just suits me better.
Granted, I've got my own dumb stuff going on with those like getting collectables but I've never bought an expensive one that I couldn't re-sell for that price.
Casio can go fuck themselves with charging 1700 bucks for the titanium Squares. They will have to find other suckers for those.
